Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Education (B.A. B.Ed.)

It is full time four-years regular degree course under Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut. The University conducts entrance test as well as regular examination for this course under the supervision of external examiners and observers.

Course Objective

The major objective of B.A. B.Ed. Course is to develop positive attitude towards the teaching experience, develop personal, professional and social competencies required in guiding children and solving their personal and academic problems, understanding about the role of school and teacher as agents of social change, national integration and scientific temper.

10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks

Admission Procedure

To take admission in this course there will be a entrance test conducted by C.C.S. University/ by the same college/ on the basis of merit according to (10+2) marks as prescribed by the Dean faculty of education, C.C.S. University Meerut. The candidate must be pass in senior secondary certificate examination (10+2) of the CBSE/ any State Board approved by the Govt. of India with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Beginning of Academic Session

The academic session of this course shall started in July second week (every year).

Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)

B. El. Ed. is an exciting four-year integrated professional degree programme for training teachers at the elementary school level.

Course Objective

The Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.) is a four years teacher education program, aims to train teachers for the pre-primary/ primary/ elementary schools in all over India and Abroad.
To provide integrated education of the course BA equivalent and the course of elementary education to a great extent according to the changing needs of Modern Indian Society.
This course is acceptable/ valid in all over India and a more advance course than BTC, JBT, NTT etc.
The curriculum, pedagogy and the other systems of this course is strictly followed by NCTE and C.C.S. University Meerut. Like other Indian Universities.
The main emphasis of this course is to development of knowledge, teaching skills and other experimental coursework for elementary children at elementary level.

Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.) (Formally B.T.C.)

D.El.Ed. is an exciting two-years professional diploma programme for training teachers at the elementary school level.

Course Objective

Foundation Courses: These courses are designed to enable students to make an in-depth study of child development concepts and perspectives in education, the context in which the education of the child is situated, processes and techniques of social organisation; various issues related to elementary education and to develop skills on communicating and relating.
Core Courses: Core courses offer the prospective teacher the opportunity to reconstruct concepts learnt in school and to integrate them within a multi-disciplinary perspective.
Pedagogy Courses: Courses in pedagogy are designed to help develop core teaching skills specific to the teaching of young children. This includes developing perspectives in pedagogy and techniques related to specific knowledge areas.
